- Network Infrastructure Management:Plan, implement, and operate network infrastructures in the DataCenter, including both physical and virtual network components.
- WAF Configuration: Configure, manage, and maintain web application firewalls (WAF) to protect web applications from security threats.
- Security Reviews & Audits: Conduct regular security reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and mitigate network and security issues efficiently.
- Security Protocol Development: Develop and implement robust security measures and protocols for effective network management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to integrate network and security solutions seamlessly.
- Documentation & Project Management: Utilize tools like MS Visio, Jira, Confluence, and DrawIO for documentation, project management, and to track progress.
- Lab Testing: Conduct release tests in lab environments to verify network and security configurations before deploying them into production.
- Procedure Documentation: Document procedures and instructions for the operations team to ensure the efficient and error-free implementation of network security solutions.
- Experience: Solid experience in network and security engineering, preferably in DataCenter environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Imperva WAF technology. Experience with firewalling and network security practices. Familiarity with tools like MS Visio, Jira, Confluence, DrawIO.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, capable of solving complex problems effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consult with customers and internal departments on the further development of platforms.
- Self-Organization: High degree of self-organization and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Language Proficiency: English: B2 or higher (mandatory) and German: B2 or higher (mandatory)
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
