Our company has become a member of the European CyberCommunity. This step strengthens Soitron’s position in the field of cyber protection and contributes to increased security measures in Slovakia and the European Union.
The CyberCommunity brings together EU Member States that care about the security situation and continuously work to combat hacker attacks.
“Cyber security is one of our main pillars. We consider it essential to connect with other experts in this field and share the latest trends with each other. With CyberCommunity reaching beyond the European Union, we and the other members are helping to protect the digital world.”
– Stanislav Smolár, Security Business Unit Manager
COOPERATION AND NETWORKING
There are many benefits to being a member of the community. Collaboration with experts from different fields and networking are an important source of insight and new information about cybersecurity//new information and insight into cybersecurity. The exchange of practical experience within the international group helps to extend its impact. The opportunity to get involved in projects and initiatives focusing on online security is a big plus. It also gives us a chance to interact with legislators and participate in decision-making at both a national and European level. It is an opportunity to design initiatives and implement services in European cyber security.
IMPROVING CYBER SECURITY IN SLOVAKIA
The effective functioning of the community goes hand in hand with working in various working groups, which are involved in activities conducted by/carried out by the National Coordination Centre Slovakia (NCC-SK). The main goal of these groups is to improve cyber security in Slovakia. Their role is vital to the success of the whole community, as it allows members to share their knowledge and work together to achieve common goals. There are currently 8 specialised groups, plus the Strategic Advisory Group.
Our membership in the European cyber security initiative supports Soitron’s commitment to focus on cyber security and collaboration in this key area.
